Summer Program at the Middleport Free Library



Be Creative At Your Library
at the Middleport Free Library starting July 9 and runs for 6 weeks at the library on 9 Vernon Street. Story time for 2-4 year olds is Thurs. at 10:30 a.m., family programs for school-aged kids are at 2 p.m. on Thurs. Free admission and everyone is welcome! Call 735-3281 to register or for more information.

Family Fun Night - Fun For All!



Come to Community Family Fun Night behind the the Holy Cross Lutheran Church on Sun., July 11 from 5 to 7 PM. Fun activities for the whole family in the park by the church on Rt. 31 and everyone is welcome! If it rains, activities will be in the Scout House. Come for "Airplay" Comedy Juggling Show at 5:20 p.m., Fiddlesticks country fiddlers at 6:20 p.m., a bounce house, sildewalk art, water balloons, free popcorn, bubbles and more!


Middleport Community Input Group News - Next Meeting August 11

They'll Be Dancin' in the Street!



Yes, folks, they'll be singing and swaying in the streets! Join us for Street Dancing to celebrate Middleport's 150th birthday on July 18 from 7 to 9 PM on the Commons (corner of Main St. and Park Ave.). There will be free hot dogs, beverages and desserts and yes, that means FREE HOT DOGS and DESSERTS for ALL. The winner of the Wooden Nickels contest will be annouced and you can still enter your guess at the beginning of the evening. There will be tents, tables and chairs but bringing a lawn chair is a good idea. Get ready to move and groove to the sound of the Easy Street Big Band and have some fun. Community Farmers Market Is Open



The Middleport Community Farmers Market is back every Friday from 4 to 7 PM at the parking lot at the Middleport Family Health Center on Rt. 31 in Middleport. The market features the best and freshest local produce and baked goods, flowers, maple syrup, honey and wax products, eggs, jelly, jams and more. The market will be open every Friday until Oct. 30.


Village Board Meetings

The next Village Board meeting is Monday, July 20 at 7 PM in the Village Hall.


Sesquicentennial News



Get your Middleport Sesquicentennial calendar or commemorative mug at the Village Hall. The calendar is full of photos of Middleport and the mug features the Village's new crest. And don't forget to visit the Veterans Walkway on the Village Commons that was dedicated by former Mayor Harold Mufford on March 25 after the annual parade.
